Best place for the best meats online?

If you’re ever in the hartford area, there’s a butchery in west hartford called Halls Market. They have wagyu, etc. Another in Vernon called bogners that usually has good stuff. I’ve also had good luck at big y. They have usda prime stuff all the time and their tomahawk steaks are great.

Thanks again for the info on this. I just got home from Halls Market. Hooked up with a full pork belly.... gonna make some bacon next week after it's cured. I'll post a thread on how & what I did. Plus I hooked up with a beef rib plate. Gonna cook that bad boy on Monday.

Very nice guy at the counter, great meats. Good selection of stuff.

No problem at all. Glad you liked it. If you come across any other good spots in the area, please share. I'm always looking to try new stuff.

As I've been talking to other drivers at work about my new found passion for smoked flesh, I've had several people give me numbers to local farmers that slaughter & sell fresh meats. Once I finally make contact with said farmers, I'll find out what's up for prices and stuff. I'll keep you informed as I obtain more info.

Don't forget Costco, if you have one in your area. Two weeks ago they had Prime Brisket Packers for $2.79/Lb. Great marbling. I bought an extra on and ground it up for brisket burgers. Much less expensive than store bought hamburger.... FWIW......
