For a gas generator with very clean power, the Honda EU is hard to beat. I have had a EU2000i for 6 years and it has been a life saver several times and made me a hero to neighbors in need at times.

If you are going to spend $1,000+ on a Honda generator I'd look into an EcoFlow portable power station.. I really don't want the noise of fumes when I'm camping so I've gone to a portable power station. You can get a Ecoflow Delta Mini factory refurbished for $620 or a new one for $800. The batteries will last for 10+ years. And if you are so inclined you could buy a couple of solar panels and have the sun keep it charged.
