Treager Texas BBQ 075
Howdy,
Hopefully someone can help. I have a treager Texas BBQ 075. I have had this grill for around 20 years and it has performed flawless.
I replaced the auger motor last month I figured the original had done enough. As soon as the grill got to 300 degrees the auger stopped. If you shut the grill off and turn it back on the auger starts right back up.
I then replaced the computer and RTD to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?

Make sure the auger wires and the igniter wires didn’t get switched.

Thanks all, a buddy gave me his old controller and it seems to be working so assuming new controller is bad, it's from Grisun. Should I go with a Treager controller or something else?

There are a couple of threads on the site that recommend the smoke daddy line of controllers. Although I am not familiar with them myself.

Wow, thanks for the tip, I bought the smoke daddy controller, fan, auger motor and diffusion plate. Now my 20 year old Treager is better than new. It controls temp almost as good as a gas oven.

AWESOME!!!
