I have. Traeg Junior Smoker.
I went through the start process. It tripped the GFI. So I did some reading, and found that the Hot Rod could be the issue. I ordered and replaced the Hot Rod. While I was at it, I gave it an extra special cleaning. I mean I took it all apart and cleaned everything, including the auger tube. I had concerns about my bag of pellets maybe being damp, so I bought a new bag.
Now the hot rod does its job igniting the pellets. Now the auger stops and acts as if it’s jammed. Yep I took it all apart again, emptied the auger tube and bench tested the auger system without any pellets in it. Auger works great until I put new dry pellets in the auger pellet feeder, it jammed up again.
Could it have a weak auger motor?
Note; both fans are/were working during the bench test.
Someone please help me. I don’t want to throw the wrong parts at it…
Or should I just buy the complete rebuild kit. That said I would really like to know what ihe issue is.
