auger jammed

I was able to return the grill to Costco and they gave me full refund with no questions asked. I then went and got a Ironwood 650. What a difference in grills. The salesman told me he gets a lot of Costco Traeger in for repair.

I do wonder if an annual "deep clean" where you clear the auger of pellets and really vacuum everything out might prevent something like this. I'm sure there is some dust build up in the auger tube area.
Is there any guidance from Traeger on how to remove the auger to clean it and the encasing?
