I have been using a Ryobi shop vac (because of other, existing tools that run on same batteries) for this and have had the same issue with filter clog. You think it’s OK to just remove filter on this as well? I had not considered your solution, but seems like a good one given I only use it for my Traeger and BGE.I too just use this little cheap one. The only downside is the pellet dust is so fine it clogs the filter up quick so I I just use it without it, I keep the discharge side aimed out away from me.
