Anyone using the Home Depot Bucket Vacuum

I too just use this little cheap one. The only downside is the pellet dust is so fine it clogs the filter up quick so I I just use it without it, I keep the discharge side aimed out away from me.
I have been using a Ryobi shop vac (because of other, existing tools that run on same batteries) for this and have had the same issue with filter clog. You think it’s OK to just remove filter on this as well? I had not considered your solution, but seems like a good one given I only use it for my Traeger and BGE.

It’s absolutely okay to remove the filter, just point the discharge port away from you. It’ll only blow out some of the dust, you’ll still collect a lot. I’ve used shop vacs probably since they first came out on my job sites, drywall dust has and still does ruin the filters quick.

The nice thing about the bucket head is that I found filters on the bay that fit for about a buck each.

I know, it doesn’t mention the buckethead but they fit. I’m using them
I’ve actually still got the one that goes on the bucket somewhere in my shop but I just use the smaller one that’s easier to handle. As for filters the way I see it is why use it, it’s just a little bit of vacuuming and I’m using it outside away from harm.
