The nice thing is that such chargers can also be used to recharge your phone during a power failure.

When I built the house I’m in now about 6 years ago I put in a 26 KW Generac generator, it’ll run everything including my heat pump. Luckily I haven’t needed it but two hours. Nice when I do though.
