I can see the small red border is just the bezel to the screen.
So I thought the large outer red piece was something that held it to the grill. Now I’m thinking that the picture is actually of the Fireboard in the package itself?

Yes, correct. I took a pic of just the box, not the Fireboard itself.

Added a couple little things to the 575. LavaLock seal, pellet sensor and a FireBoard. Oh, and removed the honeycomb finger protector from the hopper. Everything is working great. Even the Traeger temp sensor was somewhat inline with what the FireBoard was reading.

Why remove the honeycomb?

It’s personal preference, I took mine out so it’s easier to level pellets and to clean the hopper out when changing flavors. My grand kids know to stay away from the grills and I don’t let them “ play” with the pellets.
