500 degrees?? 375 on dial ??

The recipe calls for 500 degrees. The dial on our new traeger only goes to 375....how do I get to 500 degrees?

Traeger, the smaller one... Pro 780

A Pro 780 goes to 500f. If it doesn't on your grill the controller is bad. I know because i own a 780.

How do i get it to go to 500, when the dial only goes to 375...

24 hours. Took it out of the box last night. Grilled a chicken today at 325, but now the flank steak recipe calls for 500 degrees. The dial only goes to 375

analog dial, but there is also a digital screen, also a HIGH setting...

actually, when I put the dial to HIGH, it reads 475. I guess that's as high as it goes...
