Help! 50+ degree temp difference between left and right side of grill - Help

Got my new 'baffle' made and installed... TESTED at 230°

Fireboard probes left and right are almost deadnuts on...

back/center is about +25° but that's always been where a lot of heat rises

Dead center (where meat usually sits) is about +10° from the sides

Tested again right to left, +-2°, this beats the 20°-25° difference I was having
