Crap is always cheap. It's how much more they want to take advantage to squeeze those dollars.I wonder how much supply chain issues influenced the price (if at all). Crap ain't cheap these days!

I bought my T1300 Nov 2020 and used it maybe 30 times. If I could sell it around what I paid, should I upgrade?
I know these things can be overwhelming and frustrating but if you can stick it out I’m confident they will work their way through the bugs. It happens especially with new products and new versions of the technology. Good luck!I bought the XL and it was the worst mistake I made at $4K. The software is full of bugs. The flame sensor incorrectly reads fault, the grill doesn't heat to the set temperature - can be off as much as 80 degrees below the temp on the display. They refuse to provide the service required or the updates required. I have replaced the flame sensor, the thermocouple and the motherboard and still have the temperature issues. Shouldn't have to set the grill 75 degrees higher than you intend to cook at.
I've had mine up and running for just over 2 weeks now. It's a completely different smoker than my old Pro 22! Other than me getting to know it, I'm having no issues (no software glitches or features that don't work properly) and only have one complaint. I was really excited about the wireless Meater probes, but you have to insert them 2" into whatever you're cooking for them to work properly. Are all the Meater probes that way? Certainly limits their usability.I bought the XL and it was the worst mistake I made at $4K. The software is full of bugs. Same Meater probes. My buddy gave me two of them a while back. Like you mentioned it kinda limits what type of meat you can use them for. But I really like them. I wished the ambient part was accurate the whole cook.I've had mine up and running for just over 2 weeks now. It's a completely different smoker than my old Pro 22! I know what you mean, I’ve had the same thing happen to me several times over the years. It was extremely frustrating. I didn’t know what to do until one day a three year old kid told me to raise the temperature. So I did and dang gum it if that didn’t make it cook faster. That was one brilliant three year old kid. These new XL grills are a disappointment, all CS wants to do is replace parts the don’t need replacing. Having a colder firebox than the setpoint is making my cooks longer than normal.
Lol, imagine that. I guess Now I need to figure out how to get the grill to go to 600f.I know what you mean, I’ve had the same thing happen to me several times over the years. I can help there too. It won’t go to 600. That’s why they put a side induction burner on it and sell a cast iron sear plate.Lol, imagine that. I guess Now I need to figure out how to get the grill to go to 600f.
Not my style, I grill, not fry. My 885 will pick up the slack. It works, and works very well, especially at -30c.I can help there too. It won’t go to 600. That’s why they put a side induction burner on it and sell a cast iron sear plate.
