In today's installment of "What did I buy", I am wondering if this is the same brisket that I see in all of the YT videos.
As you can see, it is just under four pounds. I froze it the day I bought it, but I took it out of the freezer today, hoping to cook it on Sunday. Is this a normal, regular brisket, or did I buy something different? It looks a lot smaller than the ones I have seen in the videos. Can I follow most of the trimming and cooking recipes that I see on YT to cook this? If this is not a regular, brisket, can someone tell me how to buy a regular brisket? I was also hoping to do some of the burnt ends, but I have a feeling that won't work out.
