I purchased two very large, nice bone in veal chops. Struggling to find any recipes on line for veal (lot’s for pork). Cannot figure out time/ temperature recommendations.

Anyone tried veal chops on the smoker?

Veal is produced from young cattle, but you can cook it similar to pork. You want to cook it to an internal temperature of 145F, just as you would pork. Then allow it to rest a minimum of 3 minutes afterward. Do not overcook. Like ground beef, ground veal needs to be cooked to 160F.

You can season the veal as you would beef or pork. Rosemary, thyme and basil along with salt and pepper are possible options.

How'd they turn out? The Italian Market at the corner carries them, I was thihkning of grilling some when my wife is out of town next month (veal banned in our house when she is home).
