Hey all. I just upgraded from a pro gen 1 Traeger to the Silverton 810.
The seasoning went very smoothly and it held temp perfectly. However, I then went to smoke some Jerky and about an hour in a fire started in the fire pot and was traveling up to the hopper, probably because I used an almost empty bag of pellets and there was a good amount of pellet dust. I put it out, cleaned everything and started it up again but it seems to be taking a very long time to get up to temp. My pro 22 would get to temp in about 15mins. This one was still pre-heating at the 20min mark. I understand its bigger but I feel like taking 30+ mins to just hit 190 is excessive.
Looking for tips or tricks to help. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
