- Neither source tell you, you will need to partially disassemble the grill if the thermocouple wiring is zip-tied inside the double wall of the grill. If it is; remove the cabinet doors, lay the grill on it's back, remove the bottom shelf, remove the right side leg. This exposes an opening in the double wall grill where the zip-tied wiring is located. Cut the zip-tie.
- It's not necessary to remove the hopper if using a string to follow the old thermocouple wiring out and pull the wiring new through. Though a screw driver, from the top, will help jostle the connector through the gap between the grill wall and hopper.
