Top Shelf on a Pro 34

I thought of that for my Ironwood. The lid won’t close.

OK .... ready?

In a Pro 575, turn the top shelf with the lip in the back

NEXT go out and buy a 24x24 Expanded metal sheet from Home Depot

BE CAREFUL, but cut it to FIT side to side, and front to back with diamond pattern running anyway you want it to... the sturdiest is front to back tho.
Now, you have to get creative and BEND 2 ends in the back to go UNDER the shelf brackets which just means when installing the metal you would 'crown' it up in the middle and feed the 2 ends in where they go...

I will show you BETTER when I go out and get a FRESH piece of metal but I have a bunch of old rusted ones from Charcoal basket making to let you see kinda what it's suppose to look like

My pattern is running front to back but those ENDS are SHARP mothers... but that is the STURDIEST way to run it
AGAIN, I'll be making myself one soon so I'll do a tutorial.
