Hey everyone, just took the plunge and bought the Pro575 (big ups for this forum for cluing me into the Woot deal $300 off!). Not a grilling savant by any means, just started really getting into grilling over the last few years. However, I am very excited to be a part of this community and learn from you all and share my journey along the way.

Cheers.

Welcome and enjoy!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase! 🍻 Any ideas for your first smoke?

Thank you! Probably going to go with something easy like pork butt or ribs. A little intimidated but can’t fear failure!

You can use some of that cash you saved to buy all of the accessories (thermometer, injector, smoke tube, more pellets, etc.)! Enjoy!!

This forum has been a HUGE help so far.

I did ribs last week and a simple reverse sear tri tip on Christmas Eve. The whole family was very impressed.

Doing a pork butt sometime this week. Loving all the knowledge you guys have here.
