Good morning, anyone out there have a set of caster legs from a Timberline, or the plastic caster inserts that go in the bottoms of the legs they would be willing to part with? I already have two, but need another pair for the back legs where the larger wheels were. The legs in mine measure 3”, I’m assuming they are all the same?
I’m mounting my Timberline in an outdoor kitchen and the original plan was to remove the legs, and let it sit flush on the skirt. Doing this was going to require a channel to be cut for the grease drawer to recess down and still be able to slide, along with a square cut out under the hopper for the fan to draw air, along with the cord to pass through. But there is no support under the granite where the weight of the Traeger will rest, so cutting those holes is going to weaken the granite and probably cause it to break. The plan is now to cut the legs just below where the grease drawer protrudes past the skirt. The end caps will allow me to cut the legs square and not at a funky angle and also give it that finished look. Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to give an explanation on what I’m trying to do.
