Grill
Timberline Series 850
Does anyone know how to make a pellet funnel or does anyone know of websites selling them.
Love the grill but when I try to unload the pellet hopper it makes a mess on the floor.

you mean EMPTY the pellet hopper???

you said "upload" so I thought you meant 'loading'

Sorry about that I meant empty

I use a timberline grease bucket to empty the hopper. It is a clean transfer and while the auger still has the old type of Pellets, by the time it heats up , it is all new type Pellets

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it!🙂🙂

Hey, nice find
Agreed - a tad expensive, but then again, so is the grill. I probably lose $3 in pellets every time I change them out :). I sent the seller a message on Etsy, maybe he can offer a group buy or discount for the forum!

Well I broke down and ordered this https://kcpellets.com/products/kcp-pellet-caddy
Traeger should have put the cleanout door on the right hand side of hopper. Where it is now on the Timberline 850 is right where the back leg is.

Reading the description I think that's the same thing - maybe a licensing deal or something, but same price. I am going to hold to see if I can get a discount, but 10000% agree that Traeger "dropped the pellet" on that part of the design!

That's a sweet design, saves making one if you aren't inclined.
Or more specifically, as in my case, mechanically inclined
