The construction of the pellet clean-out door is strange. There is a rim in the chute and when you open the lid,
pellets drop down and are catched by this rim and the door don't open without some force.

How have you solved this situation?

Find it also a bit poor design as the leg is in the way, you can not put the pellet container under the chute,
the leg is in the way. This is in Timberline 850.

This happens to all of us at times. You need to jiggle it like what you do for the toilet 🤪. Seriously, there are quite a few products that have been developed to overcome the leg problems. I bought a chute that was 3-D printed with a length of dryer hose attached so you can reroute the pellets into a container. It attaches by magnets
