Ironwood 885
Are there any other forum members who are using a Ring Alarm Pro Base Station with an integrated eero 6 router and have had connectivity issues with the Traeger Wi-Fire? I have an Ironwood 885 and have successfully connected the grill with a different network environment. Now, the setup fails shortly after the grill sends my network information to the Traeger cloud. Somehow, the grill is showing up on my eero app as a previously connected device.

I have been on the phone multiple times with both Ring customer support and eero customer support. I have tried multiple set up modifications and have also used previous forum posts where users were able to successfully connect a standalone eero router with Wi-Fire after configuring a static DNS, turning off ipv6, disabling all eero security, etc. Per Traeger customer support, there are no other known customers with the same configuration and associated issues. They've asked me to act as a beta tester while their tech folks and eeros tech folks figure out where the issues are. I have also provided a 5-minute screen record to the Traeger team showing setup screens on my mobile device along with error messages. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s 22 Ultra which is on Android 12.0. I appreciate any and all feedback.

I don't know anyone with that set up but if you figured it out, hopefully Traeger sent you something for your efforts.

Issue has been resolved. I was on the phone today with both EERO and Traeger customer support. If anyone has similar issues, please use the following directions provided by the EERO support team. You will also need to temporarily disable 5G within the EERO app, and turn off Wi-Fi 6. If you are using any antivirus, either disable or temporarily delete the app. You will also need to deactivate EERO secure during the setup process.

Change the DNS to
IPv4 Primary to 8.8.8.8
IPv4 Secondary 8.8.4.4

Change the DHCP & NAT to:
Subnet IP- 192.168.7.0
Subnet mask- 255.255.255.0
Starting IP- 192.168.7.2
Ending IP- 192.168.7.254

Once you've established connectivity between EERO and Traeger, make the necessary modifications that you temporarily disabled above. The DNS, DHCP, and Nat, must be permanent changes. EERO said that those changes will make it easier to connect to Future IOT devices.
