Junior Elite 20
My Junior Elite 20 has been giving me trouble, but because I have only done short smokes(pizza and some chicken-max of 4 hours) it hasn't been that big of a deal. I have only used it ~20 times over the past few years that I've had it, but this weekend I tried to do my first long smoke (beef brisket). Unfortunately, the temperature spiked multiple times(set at 180* and spiked up to 328* and 374*, of which I took a picture, spiked while set to 225* up to 350*). While it was stable most of the time, when I checked it at 14 hours the internal temperature of the meat had decreased (despite the display showing 309* and I checked the pellet level and it was fine. I verified that it was continuing burn the pellets, but the smoker was nowhere close to 309* and I ended up having to finish the brisket in the oven. This was my first brisket! I have done research on this model and it seems that there a pretty big problem with the controller and temperature probe. Obviously, Traeger has been great at replacing these parts, but with varied success. I would like to get this fixed, but rather than just replacing parts with the same bad parts, I am wondering what it would take to upgrade to your new controller.
Please let me know what I need to do to get this fixed!

Thanks
