Wife bought two 1" thick sirloin steaks Saturday for dinner. Decided to use the Traeger. Bought it to use it. I've only used it twice so far, so.... I rubbed EVOO on them then rubbed with steak seasoning. Threw them on the Traeger @215Ā° with the smoke tube going until they reached 130Ā° internal. Then threw them on the gasser at high heat for a little bit each side until just below 145Ā°. The wife wants them closer to well done but I won't go past 145Ā°, lol. MMmm... They were the best steaks I ever made to date. Tender, juicy and nice little smoke ring. Can't wait to keep using this thing. Sorry, no photos. Didn't think of it. Prost!
