I bought a new grill installed at Ace, with Traeger pelets. Followed directions to the letter to season it, and the only smoke I saw was at the end, coming strong from the pellet box. Support tells me not to run it that high, so do directions suck, or is it the grill defective? Can't imagine they would have you statrt with a process that sends more smoke through the pellet box then the smokestack, and that's how they want to introduce someone to Traeger.

Hi. New forum member, and Traeger owner here! Have you checked if the smoke stack has enough air flow? The pointed hood covering it could be closed off enough to not allow air flow. Try backing out the hex screw head till you get about a 3/4" opening. I hope this works!
