Ptg controller

Looking for new controller for ptg grill. Alittle confusing as to which controller to get. Has anyone had to do this.

This is first page of manual. These unit are refered to as PTG (portable traeger grill)

According to the web site https://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/gasgrillparts/traeger/tft17lla.html, the controller for your grill is part BAC283. However, they indicate the part is no longer available on their site.

However, Amazon lists some possible replacements

Amazon also indicates that the part is also compatible with the BAC236 controller.

There are also BAC365 and BAC389 controller that might also fit. The BAC389 comes with a RTD temperature probe and allows connection of two meat probes.

I have an Ironwood with the D2 controller, so I have no experience with either of these controllers. You might want to remove the existing controller from your grill and check the wiring to make sure you get what you need.
