New Ironwood 650. How to update firmware/config version?

Hello all.

I connected my new Ironwood a few days ago. Very easy and WiFi is working fine. I noticed the firmware is V 02.00.00 and config version is V 06.008. I assume once I connected the WiFi, I would be updated to the latest firmware and config. Does this sound normal? I left the power on for a few days and tried to unplug and power down to get the update. Just making sure I’m not missing something. Appreciate any feedback.

My firmware version didn't update until a week ago. I am okay keeping with the old one if it works

It could take up to a week, leave it in sleep mode on futon for everyday sleeping when not cooking on it.

If you connect it to a wifi that's is connected to the internet, it will update itself.

Thanks for the info and suggestions. Much appreciated. I have a 575 Pro and it seemed like when I first connected it to WIFI, the firmware updated to the latest. I've noticed the Ironwood grill heat up is a bit slow and wasn't sure if the updated firmware would solve this problem.
