Testing the waters with my toe. I bought a Lil Tex with attached cold smoker in an on line marketplace to try pellet grilling and smoking before investing too much. It appears well cared for, but did need a general cleaning and a fan replacement. As the cold smoker is now discontinued, I’m unable to find much in the way of information on use of the cold smoking attachment. Is anybody still using these, and any good sources of info?

Cold smoking on Traeger

This may apply to all Traegers, or just the older models like my Pro 22. When using the Smoke setting, does the system simply feed pellets to create smoke, or does it also try to achieve/maintain a certain temp like 180 degrees? I'm hoping the former.
