Meater Block Battery

What is everyone’s current battery expectations with the meater block? I’ve had it since Father’s Day and used it a decent amount (15 cooks). But noticing that on a full charge and all probes charged that if I don’t use it for a week the blocks battery is down to almost nothing and needs to be charged before use or I have to keep it plugged in for the cook.

I plug mine into power with the USB port when I use mine and I keep the batteries out of it.

So you can have it fully charged and put it away for a week and it not be almost dead?

I leave the thing docked in the block all the time. But I have t charged the block or changed the batteries since I got it. I’m pretty sure that’s what the directions say to do. Return to the block after use and cleanup.
