Manufacturing date deciphering

The serial number on my Pro is 400.04BBQ-1504-HL-04511

So - model number - 400.04BBQ - the Select Pro

Manufacturing date - 1504 - I searched this site and many others, standard manuf date sequences, etc. Best I can figure is 15th week of 2004? Any confirmation from those with more knowledge?

I know I didn't buy it that long ago. It was at a Costco rep event and I'm going to have to check my history there to find the purchase date. I'm doing some repairs, so just curious.

I contacted Traeger about my model find out info on replacement parts for my BBQ 075-04. My Sn is 075 04B-1412 HL-01467, the traeger rep on line said the model I have was mfg between 2014 - 2016. He also stated that due to its age some parts are still available and some are not. He didn't say which ones are not still being manufactured, so I guess I won't know until something breaks and I start trying to find a replacement. You might try messaging the Traeger web site as I did and have them tell you the mfg. date. Hope this helped. Welcome to the site, lots of good info here.

Thx LS. I'm usually pretty good at drilling down, but I can't find a point of contact on the T site, other than the phone or chat - both over 40 min wait. I msg'd them via FB with the s/n. Even on the msg link, they state to call customer service. I'll report back the response. My brain didn't think of FB msgr.

I did a 'net search the other day and found an email - to which I got a "we don't monitor this - call customer service" response.

I find it odd that they could only land you in a 2 year timeframe. Appreciate the feedback and welcome.

EDIT: Hi, Thank you for reaching out to Traeger. Your Grill Model is the BBQ OLD SELECT we currently show that this grill was created around 2015.

It looks like we are in the same boat, when it comes to replacement parts, hope you can find what you need. Also I was able to download my operation / assembly manual / part numbers by searching on line.
