InkBird Vacuum Sealer

Since I’ve been grilling/smoking meats lately I’m trying to figure out a way to seal the leftovers for freezing or for storage. We’ve been using the standard zip lock bags. But wondering if vacuum sealers are the way to go when you want leftovers to last a little longer than the standard zip locks? Does anyone here vacuum seal leftovers from the grill or leftovers from a bulk buy that you want to save for a later date? Since I just purchased 2 InkBird IBBQ 4T probes, I came across this deal while researching vacuum sealers. Any thoughts?

Edit: After some more research on vacuum seal bags, I came across this…..

@Dcgunman -- good catch. I didn't really need the bags but at that price I got some for my inventory!

I would also highly recommend looking at the Ink Bird Sous Vide. It's a great little device to thaw/reheat/cook. For example, I like pulled pork but I mostly cook just for my wife and I so I'll put the leftovers in the vacuum bag and reheat using SV and the pork is just as juicy as the day it came off the grill.

Do a search here for "sous vide" and you'll find a good thread.

I was wondering what the heck is a sous vide? I’m new to a lot of this. Since using the T grill and storing away leftovers I was trying to figure out the best way to reheat the meats and still retain the juice/flavors. Thank you.

I ended up purchasing this along with the bags at 50% off. For $40 buck what could go wrong? $63 total with extra bags. Deal. I’ll put up a small description and my thoughts after I use it a couple of times.

I got it...

so what's the difference between the two sous vide options InkBird has?

Just took a quick peek and it looks like the 200W is newer and more quiet. They are both rated at 1000W. Didn't see much difference other than that (but I really didn't look at the specs to be honest).

Received & used today. Slim & looks good. Easy to work use. Basic with no extra bs. Works great. Even better price. Let’s see how long it’ll last.
