Apologies if I placed this in the wrong thread.
I have 2 InkBird IBBQ-4T’s for 2 years. I guess InkBird put out a new app for their products earlier this year. The old InkBird Pro I was using is no longer. So I was using my InkBirds the last several times smoking. But I never added them to my app. So I tried adding them to the new app and I cannot connect them to my WiFi. Has anyone else here with the InkBird smart thermometers have any issues connecting their IBBQ-4T or others to their new InkBird app on their wifi? I have my wifi set o 2.4g. I’ve tried it a dozen times with no luck.
 
I was able to connect after making sure my phone was connected to 2.4g network. Seems like I did have a slight problem to begin with but it’s been awhile and can’t remember completely. Sorry

I made sure that I am connected to my 2.4g as well. I tried connecting when I’m close to my router. Nothing. I’ve used my meters without the app the last several time's smoking. It would be nice to be able to monitor the temp on my app.
 
Mine was acting up as well. I had to delete and reinstall the app about 5 times before it would connect. On mine when the new app would try to "find" the device it would just time out and keep spinning. Finally after about 5 times it connected. Thats the only advice I can offer.
