Three of my Inkbird probes are way off, and one is not even reading. The picture is of the probes in ice water, so the target temp reading should be 32. You can only calibrate +/-12 degrees.

Has anyone had this problem before, if so, is there a fix?

Battery looks almost drained. Not sure if that could impact anything, but maybe try that first just to rule it out.

It’s charging in that picture. Battery flashes so I caught the pic while it looked empty. Think it’s actually at 60%

I haven’t had this problem. Mine didn’t want to read this weekend when I plugged them in and it was in the teens outside. As soon as the grill started to rise as did the protein they kicked back in.

No experience with what you have going on though. Sorry

Try one probe at a time, in the same port. You may find you have a bad probe with a short.
If they all work in the same port one at a time, check the other ports one at a time using one probe at a time.
I had a bad probe with my FireBoard and it would cause all sorts of erratic readings on the other probes. Unplugging the bad probe eliminated the issue.
Good luck on troubleshooting this

Thanks for the tip. I’ll try it out.

If you think a probe is bad, try plugging it into each of the four ports. If you get the same reading on each port, the probe is bad. If you plug it into another port and the reading changes significantly, it may be that the port is bad.

Before tossing a bad probe, try cleaning the contacts on the plug. CRC contact cleaner is ideal for that purpose.

Thanks for the advice.
