Increasing Smoke output.

Hello, Im new to Traeger smokers. I purchased an IW 650 and enjoy it, cooks excellent, but it does not seam to produce as much smoke as I was expecting. I made the transition from a stick burner so maybe my expectations are off. Does anyone have any tips for getting more smoke to the meat in the Traeger, and is this what to expect less smoke. Thanks for the tips.

A pellet smoker will never give you the same smoke profile as a sticker burner so a lot of people use smoke tubes to add additional smoke.

Search “smoke tubes” on Amazon and you find lots of them, most will be under $20.

not enough smoke flavor from my 850

I have been smoking food for about 30 yrs now and recently purchased a Timberline 850. I've smoked chicken and pork butt and various other things on it (on the "super smoke" setting) and I'm just not thrilled with the amount of smoke flavor I'm getting. I get a smoke ring, but just not tasting...
