Grill
Ironwood 650
My hot rod has been replaced twice after the original stopped firing up my Ironwood 650. It gets hot (too hot to touch) but not hot enough to get the pellets started (new, dry pellets). Everything works fine after I start the grill manually with fire-starters. Any suggestions?

I have a Timberline, I had that issue, I kept calling Traeger until they finally sent me one that has worked for the past two years

WHen installing a new dhot rod, it is important that it extends approximately 1/4" into the fire pot. A greater extension will not make it work better.
