Ironwood xl, pro 34
Hello! New to the forum but not to Traeger. I’ve had a pro 34 for over 7 years. Recently just picked up an ironwood xl and some meater x probes. Was pretty excited at first but so far the x probes don’t seem to like to charge. Took a full day to get both to pair with the grill. The ironwood worked great for three days. Yesterday it was saying it was offline in the app. Gone through their whole faq page. Sounds like the issue is on their end. Overall not a great start to a relatively expensive smoker… hopefully they get it resolved soon! Without the wifi connectivity I might as well have just stuck with the 34.
 
When it originally connected to my wifi it automatically updated to the latest firmware I checked that. The touch screen ones are a little different than that article. But I went through and did everything I could find on the faq. Sounds like it’s something on Traeger end with the cloud service that operates the wifi functions for the grill. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. Once the wifi functions are working again it will be an awesome upgrade!

I am a three year owner of a Timberline XL and experience the same offline message and when I refresh my reset my timberline to reconnect see the cannot download certificate issue too!
 
Makes me feel better I’m not the only one experiencing this. Sounds like it’s on their end so hopefully it is fixed soon
 
I was able to get mine reconnected and working tonight. Hopefully there aren’t any more problems anytime soon
