So it's time to upgrade my 10-year-old Weber gas barbecue. As I was looking around at the alternatives available in some of the home improvement stores, I noticed a pretty large difference between the Weber's in the store and was wondering your thoughts on something --> the weight of the $500ish grills is quite light. To match the weight of my present grill, I'll need to spend around $850. I'm not going to spend more than a grand (since I'm a cheapskate).
I do some low-and-slow cooking on the grill, but I primarily use a smoker for that. This time, I'm thinking about including a rotisserie. My concern is, is the extra cost of the heavier lid worth it? Yes, according to my instincts.
Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you ahead of time.
