For the third time may be the fourth, I've disassembled my grill to clean it out and only to find grease in the bottom of the barrel. I'm enclosing some photos here. Last night I grilled two steaks and made sure the tray liner was creased in all the right spots as you will see and by golly, I still had grease in the bottom of the barrel this morning. Now, is the drip tray supposed to be perfectly flat? Mine has upward in it. The photo will also show how the grease drain trough has been lengthened with the help of poster RemE.

Yikes! That's not good. I can't tell where it's coming from. Doesn't look like it's leaking out of the chute, and there isn't a trail from anywhere higher. I've never seen anything like that on my Timberline.

I think I found the source of my grease but I don't know if it can be fixed. I think it will eventually stop. I remember having a fire with a lot of smoke in the grill at one time so I'm thinking there must have been a drip and it got under this piece of the grill and I'm not sure it can be removed to clean under it. Today I fired it up and only took it 225˚, with nothing on the grill. Removed the innards and there was liquid grease and it appears to be coming from underneath this long box. Does anyone know if it can be taken out?Traeger.jpeg

This looks like the inside of my 2019 850. My problem is that they grease channel that runs inside the front of the barrel and the connecting covered V-channel have been delaminated and rusted through. There are no replacement parts for these pieces because they are welded to the barrel. I did buy a replacement cover for the downward sloping V-channel but that didn't solve my problem. So, I MIG welded two pieces that barely fit on top of the rusted channels. Not a great solution but it will last until I replace my grill with something that I think will last forever.
