My Fireboard 2 has been working without issues for about three years. Started a brisket cook this morning and the FB was reading all the probe data. About 90 minutes into the cook I couldn't see any progress or temperatures on my iPad or Android phone. The base unit is working fine. I can go out to the Traeger and see all the temps. When I check the system info on the base unit it says WIFI and Bluetooth not connected. I go to manage accounts it won't let me reconnect. Looks like the base unit isn't sending signals. Anyone ever run into this?
Plan B, I connected the Traeger meat probe so I could check on my phone and iPad. Surprisingly, it's tracking the FB temps and agrees with my Thermapen.

I had some issues with my FB, and from some checking it turned out to be a bad probe each time. I would get readings from ports without any probes even plugged in. I also had temperatures that would.just drop and come back up, irratic readings.
To do to test on the probes, unplug all of them and only plug one in at a time and see if the issue returns. Keep repeating with only one probe until you are able to repeat the issue.
More than likely you may have a probe going on you. The head units are pretty solid

I can see the temps on the head unit. They just aren't getting sent to the iPad or phone

Is it still connected to wifi and Bluetooth to your device?
Almost sounds like it isn't getting a connection. You should be able to see it via Bluetooth on your device when the internet is out.
Maybe try a reset and then set it up again and see if it reconnects

No. That's the problem. And when I go into the utilities I can't connect to bluetooth or rest the FB. I think a call to CS is in order.

Well, here's one for the books. Turns out I have a FBX2. I never could get a screen that displayed "Factory Reset". Anyway, I started a short cook today and decided to connect the FB. What do ya know It's working!!. Let's see if it stays connected for the whole cook.🤞

I think I figured it out. I usually run the FB app on my iPad but since the last system update the FB doesn't appear in the iPad Bluetooth search. If I turn on Bluetooth on my Android phone the FB connects.
