FA-BL60 vs new D2 auger motor

I have been using my Timberline 1300 for a while and it has been reliable. Unfortunately the auger motor has failed and I need to buy a replacement. I noticed that my current auger motor is the FA-BL60 model and have noticed there is a new D2 auger motor. The FA-BL60 is around $80 on Amazon and the new D2 auger motor is about the same price from Traeger. Is there any recommendation for either motor and is one motor more reliable than the other? I appreciate your advice and recommendation.

There are two generations of D2 grills. One uses the FA-BL60 motor. The other uses the D2 auger motor. I have no idea what the difference may be between them. They are both 24V motors. It might be that Traeger just changed suppliers. But unless you know why they changed suppliers, it is difficult to know which motor is better.

Since your grill has the FA-BL60 motor, you might want to stick with that one to make sure it fits properly.
