Turn the dial to 180 F get 400 F plus
Replaced BAC 236 control Panel and Hot Rod and 7”
Temp Rod .
Help ?

I am thinking bad Chinese controller from Amazon !

Are you sure the controller is not set for Celsius. 180 C is 356 F.

Ordered New Control panel US Made from Digital Thermostat in CA. Hopefully this helps !

The pellet motor is making noise

All is good now
Found my problem with my Traeger 22 !
Regulating temp is done by raising the rain cap for higher temp and lowering it for decreasing the temp.
So Simple it makes me feel stupid like a damper on a wood stove.

New USA made controller and Temperature 7” Rod and Hot Rod installed. All good now back cooking all components replaced were good it was the rain cap on chimney was to high allowing to much draft causing higher temperatures. Lowered the rain cap and temp went back down to normal zone.
