Check out Traeger’s 321 recipe for ribs. We use their Pork & Poultry rub. Then finish them off with Sweet Baby Rays for the last hour. Hope thi helps.

Tons of stuff on YouTube. See Malcolm Reeds “how to bbq right” and Heath Riles. They are very accomplished rib cooks. Malcolm does Memphis style “dry” ribs regularly. They can show you detailed steps for all kinds and they do so on Traeger grills frequently.

There is nothing wrong with doing your own thing.

You might find a specific rub or sauce that you love; if so, use them. I usually find myself blending various rubs and sauces to suit my taste. Some are too sweet. Some are too salty. Some are two tangy/.sour. Some have too much black pepper or too much garlic. Some have too much hot pepper for my taste. By blending several, I can usually find something I like.

There are lots of DIY rubs and sauces on the web. Find one that sounds good to you and make a small batch. Then start modifying it to suit your personal preferences. Salt, pepper, garlic and paprika are at the heart of most rubs, but after than you can add anything you desire.

I second this...anything from either of these guys is great! Heath Riles just won Best Ribs at the most recent Memphis in May too!
