Connectivity issue with new Android app

The Traeger app on my Android Pixel 7 just updated itself today, and I now have connectivity issues I have not had before. The app keeps losing connection to my grill; the app's screen stops updating. Exiting the app and restarting it doesn't help, rebooting my phone restores the connection. But it drops again in 5-10 minutes.

Anyone else have this issue? Silverton 620 grill.

I wish this were possible!! The old version of the app is no longer available. I spent a long time on the phone with Traeger support and was told I could NOT go back to the old version.

Incidentally, I did not ask to upgrade to the new version - it happened automatically.

You would more than likely need to uninstall the current version you have to ensure there isn't any issues.
Edit to add, you will need to ensure you have auto update for your apps turned off for the phone or this will update. Pain in the butt, because you would need to manually check and update the rest of your apps

I don’t know about Android but I recently upgraded my iPhone to a new one and I have issues. I deleted my app and cleared the information from my Traeger and started over, working great now.

I love that place, i get lots of APPS from there and they always work just fine.
