My Fireboard app won't close 90% of the time using the exit app button... I usually have to go into Android settings and "force Stop" the app

Anyone else??

I believe that it’s happened to me with FB. I’ve noticed a few apps that don’t shut down. I started using FB on my iPad instead and the Traeger app on my phone

Just checked. I can’t even find the exit button. It been a while since I used it on the phone while running errands and monitoring cook temps. I had to force stop it.

I was curious so I looked at the iOS app and I don’t see an exit button. All I have is a sign out button in the setting menu.

I have never used the 'exit app'
When I am done, I just close it and then clear it from my recent list.
Not sure about iPhone, but on Android the shut down can be found by going to settings, then the three dots on the top right of the setting page has the exit app listed

Yes. I just found it too. But now I have to log in with my password which I forgot long ago.:(

That sucks....
Probably a reason I never used it. More than likely I used it once and found the same as you.

Rusty, that's the screen shot I tried to capture but couldn't... YES that's it, and it DOES work for me, or used to. And I never had to "log" back in, if I don't EXIT the app, it stays OPEN and in my notifications.
I'll just use 'force stop' b/c I also don't want it running in the background

That works too, and does get rid of the notification, but still 'running' in background.

I haven't worried about it. My phone restarts once a week, on Sunday nights, so it won't run for long.
I just tried the exit app and didn't have to log in afterwards. I guess I could use that.
My phone doesn't get much use except for the FB, this forum and work emails and text messages.

I just swipe it and make it disappear. I haven’t exited it for a very very long time.
