Cast Iron

So…..what brand of cast iron do you use for your cooking? I was going to just get Lodge, but looking online I ran across Ozark Trail (Wal Mart) for a good bit less. I’ve never used any OT products but some folks I know have and said it’s good for the price. Anyone have any experience with either Lodge or Ozark Trail? Thanks in advance.

I have several Lodge and love them. My grand kids will be cooking on these things.

Im a huge proponent of enameled cast iron cookware. All of the benefits and none of the crap.

Still using the insanely perfectly-seasoned Lodge CI skillet I got from my Grandmother in 1976. My go-to still.

The Carbon Steel stuff is 1/2 the weight of cast iron and very high quality.

I was say that the "lodge cast iron grill pan" sucks. Even worst, trying to clean it. Now I see why my father-in-law gave it to me.

So I don't recommend it.
