I have a Pro 22, 7 years old. Not getting good flame in the hot pot. In the last 3 weeks I’ve changed the motor, new auger, fire pot, hot rod and today a new controller. Cleaned out all the old pellets and got a new bag. After putting the new controller in today, fresh pellets and measured the hot rod distance into the pot. Followed the directions to start and the pellets start to smoke a little but never really ignite and heat up. I’m lost

Can you hear or feel the fan running?
Almost sounds like your fan isn't coming on to 'fan the flame'.

The fan on the auger motor?
The induction fan should be what regulates the temperature through the controller
It just sounds like you have ignition from the hot rod and then there is nothing to help regulate and bring up the temperature

Do you prime the auger before igniting?

When you emptied the old pellets, did you just empty the hopper or did you clean out the auger tube as well?

That sounds really frustrating, especially after replacing so many parts! Since the pellets are smoking but not igniting, it might be worth double checking the airflow. Make sure the fan is working properly and that the air path to the fire pot isn’t blocked by ash or debris. Also, confirm that the hot rod is heating up enough to ignite the pellets it should glow red hot during startup. If airflow and the hot rod both check out, the issue might be with pellet quality even new pellets can sometimes have too much moisture.
