Pro575
I’m new to the forum. Anyway I brought a pro575 from an auction house. Listed as like new condition. The D2 knob was missing . The shaft that the knob was also broken off with about 1/64 of an inch exposed. Needless to say you get what you pay for or not. After weighing my options: trying to get a partial refund to purchase a new controller, buy a new controller, or try and fix it myself.
I am looking into getting a refund but had to try and fix.I thought I would try to extend the center shaft somehow but could not see a good way to do this. Eventually I tues a deemed cut off wheel and removed about a 1/4 of the hub surrounding the center shaft. At first I thought I had destroyed the board because it did not respond when I turn the power on until I pressed the menu button. So it is working now with use of a pair of needle nose pliers. After I try this thing out a couple times I’ll try to attach the new knob somehow.
