I went to fire it up for the seasoning process and got an Auger Overcurrent error. I cleared out the pellets (did not buy Traeger pellets due to people saying it is fine to use others) and got any that I could see in there out and one may have been “stuck” but nothing too crazy. l got everything clean and now the auger won’t move at all. Called support and then are sending a new auger and motor but the first impression has been terrible. Haven’t even gotten a chance to cook on it or fire it up. Should I try to exchange the whole thing? Return it back to Home Depot? Hoping this new auger and motor remedies it and I don't have future reoccuring problems

I definitely would talk to Home Depot about getting another one. You shouldn’t have to work on a brand new Traeger. What model is it?

I was thinking the same thing about it being a brand new grill. Idk if they would come lug it away though for me or not though. It’s up on my deck now. And I have the pro 575. Hoping the part comes in decently quick so I could exchange/get a different one quickly if this doesnt work

Hopefully it’ll all work out well for you. Let us know how it goes. Also, Welcome to the Forum. Once you get it fixed show us some pictures of your cooks. Also take a little time and use the search bar and look at smoke tubes, if you like a good smoke flavor you will need a couple smoke tubes, you won’t get it without them.
