Hello All,

I just recently got a Woodridge Pro. I want to try to use a smoke tube with some things I want to smoke, but what would be the best spot in the smoker for it? My old smoker had a chimney on the right side, so I placed the tube on the left. This one doesn't have a chimney and vents through the back. Any recommendations would be great.

I really don’t think it makes much a difference especially since you don’t have a stack. My 780 has a stack so I put mine (I use three at a time usually. Front back and side. You could get by with either side or the front. Another thing that helped with mine I added a gasket around the door to help hold the smoke it as well as I turned the top down low to reduce the amount of smoke coming out. I’m in South Carolina so we really like our smoke flavor, lol.

Welcome to the Forum.! Don’t forget to show off your cooks with some pictures!

I usually place mine at the end opposite the hopper to keep it from possibly whacking the temperature sensor or interfering with my Fireboard cables.
