Help! BBQ 400.04 Storing Pellets underneath

Is storing bags of pellets underneath the BBQ 400.04 in the drawers a safe/good idea? My main concern is if the heat from the grill above will effect the pellets in any way?

Not sure if the heat will affect them. I would imagine that would depend on how close to the bottom of the cooking chamber they are. I would be concerned about moisture, too, so keep them in an air-tight container.

Pellets in air tight buckets or whatever... not in their bags outside if you are asking.
